Digital Strategist

Derrick is Modera’s resident Digital Strategist. He began his marketing career as a digital marketing analyst, eventually transitioning into media planning both online and offline for multiple clients. He loves performance-based media and the evolving landscape of digital marketing tech and advertising. He’s currently interested in learning more about law and legislation concerning consumer privacy, CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) and GDRP (General Data Protection Regulation). What he finds most rewarding about his role with Modera is the ability to produce and execute media strategy with the customer as a focus, by leveraging the available tools to accomplish client business goals. As for his approach to teamwork, he enjoys collaborating with specialists and subject matter experts across the digital marketing spectrum. His favorite marketing podcast to listen and learn from is ‘Behind the Numbers’ from eMarketer. Derrick is a graduate of California State University, Northridge. He spends his free time taking advantage of the beautiful SoCal weather by relaxing on the beach, running, biking, and golfing.
